Arts programme "The South Bank Show" is to return to television screens, with six hour-long episodes to air on Sky Arts in 2012.
Editor and presenter Melvyn Bragg will return to host the programme, which was axed by ITV in 2009 after more than 30 years. The South Bank Sky Arts Awards will also return next year, with the awards taking place on 1st May at The Dorchester, with prizes for literature, as well as visual art, theatre, opera, dance, comedy, classical music, pop, TV drama and film.
